Killing Sin.
This conference is centered on dealing with some of those sins that so easily entangle us…and keep coming back. We’ve picked a few to focus on: pride, envy, anger, and sexual lust. Repentance is not simply turning away from these things, or in Paul’s language above, mortifying them. Elsewhere, we are told to put on the new man as we take off the old man (Eph. 4). How do we truly put to death sins like pride or lust? As we take of envy or anger, what do we put on?
