Trinity Outdoors
Group outdoor activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, and canoing. The purpose of these outings is to fellowship with one another while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. The hope is that these activities will provide a means for those in the body with a common interest in the outdoors to get to know one another better and deepen the bonds of friendship.

Preparing for hikes
Most hikes in the spring and summer months require only comfortable athletic shoes and a small pack with food and water. However, weather can be unpredictable so rain gear is almost always a good idea even if it stays stuffed in your pack. A small day pack is not required, but is advised for almost any hike you might take. Most books and online materials will tell you to always bring the ten essentials. Whether or not you decide to bring all ten on every trip is a matter of personal judgment. You can also research the difficulty of most hikes by doing a search here (http://wta.org/cgi-bin/wtaweb.pl?3+tg+main+english).
